Big thanks to all the organisers

Post by TheDoc »

Thank you to everyone at the NAF who organised it and made it run smoothly. It was my first NAF champs and I really enjoyed it (at one point I was even at table 25 :o ).

A great variety of coaches from all over the world.

I will definitely be going to the next one and bringing more friends.

Thanks guys

Ade

Big thanks to Pippy and NAF co for making mine, Frank's and DutchDave's job easy on the day.

A great weekend. I spoke with several people who were new to tournaments and they all enjoyed it thoroughly and can see what all the fuss is about :)

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Grats to all the organisers. I think this is the first time I've seen the BBGT/NAFC start on time! Well done guys.

Another top weekend in Notts. Great to see everyone, shame I didn't get to spend time with everyone i'd have liked to.

Looking forward to seeing the full results...did my three big wins get me a top half finish?

Already thinking about next year. Contemplating Skaven....after all, if one Gutter Runner and his rubber knife can do what they did this year, what can three or four do?

Also a big thanks from me to everyone who organised it and who I played against.
Was my first BB tournament but certainly not my last.
A great weekend and highly enjoyable, am certainly converted from those boring 40k campaigns :)
And to top it off, the Deep Down Dodgers not only survived to play again but managed to win 3 games

Echo the thanks to the organisers, first time in 8 years at 'the big one' and probably the best I can recall in terms of organisation etc. Good job, hopefully not 8 years to the next time.

I would like to add my gratitude. This has been my first tournament out of Spain, and I'm sure it won't be the last.
The mood, the organisation and the company was wonderful, thank you again.

(And also a big THANK YOU to Jervis, who accepted to sign my bloodbowl pitch :-D)

Very well done guys!

A tournament that accomplishes what you expect from "The Bloodbowl".

I would thank you also in the name of the rest of LBN players there.

Congrats!

Thanks everyone. So many people were involved in the organisation: from all of the refs (especially Lunchmoney, Dutch Dave and Frank) to those who contributed behind the scenes on stuff like the leader token (Tom Brown, Geggster, Joemanji), prizes and trophies (Pete W, Rodders, spubbbba), certificates and rules pack formatting (Schmee). That is not to mention several others who were willing to help with lots of small but significant things in the run up and on the day.

I think we have an excellent community! :)

Feedback at the weekend re painting competition (and in the other thread) taken on board. Thanks guys. Duly noted!

And nice one Podfrey for honoring your pledge to buy me a pint if we started on time ;-)
