Blitz == German for Lightning if I remember my history (Blitzkrieg == Lightning War)

As for French terms, we play on JJ the Frenchman's board at the ECBBL from time to time so we get to learn a few of the odd terms ;)

Actually all I can remember is that reroll is "retour"... I think...

If its any help the swedish for lightning is "Blixt", so the german being "Blitz" gets a bit of circumstantial support.

Badly spelled threads - well, with apologies to the fella in question, pretty much anything posted by Khorneskulls...this thread for example... viewtopic.php?p=44149&highlight=#44149

Nothing irritates me more than SMS speak.

I'm bilingual (if you hear loud Swedish cursing at the BB that'll be me.)
Got shown exactly how poor my french was when I was on my honeymoon in Paris. I know a lot less Frogish than I thought I did. But then, I managed to come out of GCSE french knowing less than I did when I started.

Fondu77, if I were you I would be more polite here...

This isn't Lutece Cup board here. Please speak in english and respect the TBB Members here. I guess it has something to see with a lack of knowledge of the general atmosphere here, but you should think about it.

I may be Canadian, but I live close enough to Quebec to understand this. I suggest you clean up your posts in the future, no matter what language you're using.
