I want to come too,

aint there tourneys that do 4 games on saturdays, so with 4 + 3 you can have 7 in total.

If you want 7 games then come to the Poo Bowl, 9-10 January. I have been 4 times. It is awesome.

But 7 games is probably too much for the many more casual players who come to the Blood Bowl. I think 6 is more sensible.

Good news, and good work NAF, havent been to the BB for 5 years now after becoming disgruntled with the gw way of doing things. I'll do my best to be there next year.

Some additional info regarding the event title.

We have been in discussion with Games Workshop and there are legal issues with the use of the term ‘Blood Bowl’ or ‘The Blood Bowl’ as the official title.

We have decided to give the tournament a title which reflects that it is no longer organised by GW but by the NAF.

Our title is The NAF Championship – a change of name, but it will continue to be one of NAF’s five Major tournaments alongside The Chaos Cup, Dungeon Bowl, Spike and CanCon.

This remains Blood Bowl’s most prestigious and best-attended individual tournament world-wide. We intend to keep it that way and hope that under NAF control it will become even bigger and better!

Cheers
Brendan

The name's a lot better. It sounds high class.

So does that mean it's a Fantasy Football tournament, or are you still allowed to call it (and advertise it as) a Blood Bowl tournament?

Oh, and Andy J wishes you good luck with it.

It's a Blood Bowl tournament and can legally be subtitled as such - "a major Blood Bowl Tournament". No issues there.

Thanks to Andy J. We're hoping it'll be a success!

FFS. Really?
Can the petty minded lawyer bastards at GW not extract their crania from the posteriors for five flaming minutes and realise what a ridiculous joke of a company they're making themselves appear?

So I posted in some German and swiss forums.

I think such a tournament needs a final in round 6 for the otherall winner.

Very cool that we'll be able to say now that all tournaments in the world allow the 3 new teams ... this was the last one that didn't that I know of.

Can't wait. I've been to the last 6 BBs and have always enjoyed it immensly, but I firmly expect the NAF Championship to utterly eclipse them all. Great to hear some international interest too, which seems to have been gradually on the wane in recent years at this event. Good show!
