5 and 6 are directly contradicting:
5 says Wizards are NOT allowed, 6 says they cost 150,000. WTF?

I'll get Andy to make a note of that on the House Rulez page.

Wizards are NOT allowed at the Blood Bowl GT.

I think it may have been an edit of a previous document which is when the confusion has come from - some of the responses look like queries from last year.

Actually, it's the almalgamation of 3 different documents, checked at different times, and checked (too) quickly at the weekend, as Andy needed to get it posted before going off work until the BB (shame he didn't let me know he'd posted it though).

Just as another note on GW "Spellchecking".
My ticket pack says 2007 Grand Tournament! (Top right section on the front)

Well - the house rules pack answered my latest question. I'm taking a master Chef in my team now :)

Not uncommon at tournies now. Was the same lat yr I think (for Halfings anyway).

And with TV100 it'll cut down a lot on the sensible options.

Only Halfings will benefit I think.

Inducements are sensible. To be honest I'm suprised that wizards arent allowed because ALL of the inducements (barring maybe flings and chefs) are supposed to be 33% more expensive than their effectiveness. Inducements give people a few more options for variety but shouldnt make it an overpowered cheesefest.

Wizards were permitted at Monkeybowl but noone took one...

Don't think inducements are a problem at all tbh.

Good to see GW responding to individual's questions, even if if hasn't been proof-read... :-?

Quite a few of the aussie tournaments are now "static". Start with TVX and being able to purchase skills and inducements. No changes to the roster occur during the tournament - so you play every game with the same roster.

Euc Bowl limits skills to normal skills and only 1 per player. A recent tournament only prevented stat increases, and TBH, I don't think it was that distorted.

I really liked the Waterbowl ruleset in Manchester, IMO a much better system than the one at the GT and one which gave lower tier races a bit more chance.

1,100,000 gold pieces and the following skillset options (no player can get a single skill more than once). Either:
4 normal, 2 double
4 normal, 1 double, 1 +M
5 normal, 1 +AG
4 normal, 1 +ST

As I said I liked it alot and I wish the GT would adopt something a bit more like this (although I can see why it wouldnt).
