Hoping to get to Nott anytime from about 6pm. Probably going to find the B&B first, then find my way (on foot and sober!) to Bugmans, so I can treble the time for Sat/Sun morning.

As I just posted elsewhere:
Just a quick heads up.
Warhammer World itself (i.e. the main gaming hall) will be closed for cleaning on Friday evening.
It is also Comedy evening in Bugman's (again), so expect a stand up comic.
However, the Events team are going to organise somewhere to play in the dining hall, this does however mean that if you want a game Friday then you'll have to bring boards/dugouts etc.
Should be there (along with Lycos, Sputnik, kithor) late afternoon. See you all there. I'm buzzing already and I'm not even playing! 8)

Looking more like 7-7.30pm, as the family car's needed elsewhere during the day. :(

Not playing Woody? Whats up with that?

I'm always rushed off my feet at the BB, playing is really something I tend to just fit in as a side event. I'll be able to (for example) enter sign ups and renewals while the rounds are in progress rather than coming home with big lists of indecipherable email addresses.
Just be nice to concentrate on NAF admin, seeing who I need to see, having more time for those that need to see me.. blah blah etc.

Plus of course I am so going to lie in on Sunday. :smoking:

Rodders,

There is a "secret path" along the canal from the Marina to near GW. From the Marina, start heading towards the bridge (as you would if you drive to GW). On the right is an American Diner place. Go to it and skirt round the building to the left. At the back is a foot bridge that goes under the road bridge. Take it and walk along the path for a while, contemplating how to chuck your mates in without taking a dive yourself. After a couple of hundred yards there is an egress on your left that doubles back and up. This leads you to a road. Turn right, walk about 100 yards and hey presto! One GW HQ.

we took that route when we stayed at the travel inn in castle marina, but this year we are on london road.

looking at a map it seams that the canal run past the castle marina travel inn and up to london road.

can we walk this route and how long would it take if were not drunk.
