Where are you staying? BB05

Post by dantitan76 »

We just found out that somebody else has taken our HQ from the last two years :( (Clarence Hotel)
So now the Spanish and Italian Team (Total of 16) are looking for cheap accomodation.... Any help??? Somebody knows any good place??? (Sleeping under a bridge is not acceptable... ;) )

I stayed at the Travel Inn near Castle Marina last year. Rooms aren't too expensive if you're OK sharing.

Warhammer World was only a 10 minute walk along the canal towpath from the hotel

I think there's also a Holiday Inn next door, and a McDonald's the other side for breakfasts!

Hope this helps!

I believe that the Travel Inn South (Castle Marina) is booked up now.

Riverside Tavel Inn

its about 10 mins walk to Warhammer World so Its a nice short walk back from Bugmans once I've drunk so much beer I can hardly walk in a strait line (The Perfect state to play BB in)

Hehe, can't walk in a straight line and walking along the side of a canal? Risky...? :P

I am staying at that Castle Marina Travelinn; does the job nicely. Have done so for last 2 years too, and never fallen in canal. Never got that drunk either though .. have to remedy that this year.

Dwarfcoach is not allowed to get drunk - he will only use it as an excuse to be late for your match the next day.

And no .. I'll never let you forget that .. me sitting there for 45 mins twiddling my thumbs .. at least I beat you when you did eventually get there!

Do it at the BB and I'll push you into the canal myself!

Yeah, that was the closest I ever came to missing a match. Bloody girl at the reception desk gave me duff directions...

Anyway, won't happen at the Blood Bowl as I was pretty much drunk all weekend last time but as I used to live in Nottingham I can get around even when in that state... :P

(and it didn't hurt my ranking last year either, may be quite different with Dwarves though... :-? )

Should be very near to Warhammer World.
