BB team

Post by Stikki »

I've abandoned my wood elves and am going for Amazon this year - mostly because I bought a ready-painted team!

I'm also trying for the team with the most unnecessarily long name...

Dark Pumas of the House of the Moon

Can anyone beat that?

Well in the first BBGT my good freind Kenneth Smith (who came absolutely last last year) had a Wood Elf team named 'A Collective of Pensive Woodfolk' but anyone who looks at the results sheet will see that the GW events team don't seem to be able to deal with lengthy team names.

His team name this year was 'Her Majesty's Hermaphrodites'- a Dark Elf team with, erm significant appendages to the Witch Elves. Suprisingly few people noticed, and the additions weren't exactly subtle. He may be bringing the same team this year so be warned!

As for me I tried to develop a new goblin team but failed, have vowed not to take the same team twice otherwise I'd just bring my Khemri again, so I may bring humans or orcs (as they are painted) or Dwarves ( as they are nearly painted).

Problem being I find Dwarves very boring to play with...

<ducks projectiles> :o

I like the background, concept, even the models (anyone else think they're pretty much the best 3rd Ed models?) but they're just dull to play with...

Then again, I like all goblin teams brimming with secret weapons... 8)

Just some rambling thoughts...

Erm, I think the tickets are sold out so if you haven't got one now I doubt you will get one...

tomba you know those dwarves are never going to be finished! they've been in a state of 'nearly finished' for 3+ years :) i will be bringing either a dark elf team -or- a nurgling team (using the goblins rules)

I would describe their status as more 'almost finished'.

'Nearly finished' for 3+ years (actually more like four, but we'll not split hairs) sounds quite sad...
