Team Colours: Red, White and Black
Owner: Yø Rin Frøher Head Coach: Dave
Several years ago, Yø Rin bought up a struggling Norse side. Soon he realized that they were doing no good at all in their native leagues and cups. Reason for this all was the overwhelming presence of pubs and girls that took his players’ minds of their sole purpose: Hitting their opponents, hitting them some more and score a TD if no one was left to be hit. His solution was simple: “Take them from their home and put them in another league”.
And so Fear Ye No Ordeal entered the KPNBBL.
2501 Their first season in the KPNBBL saw them rise high and fall very deep. They kicked some major Orc butt (6-0) and lost blatantly to the Mootland Dragons (1-2). They ended their first homesick season abroad with a straight 5 – 0 – 5 record, finishing 4th out of 6 teams.
2502 The next season had to go better and so it did. The Norse played good Blood Bowl and after turning a 0 – 3 down situation into a 4 – 3 victory over the previous seasons’ champions they got to the play offs and won!
2503 The next season they played in the top again but clearly they were already looking over the borders of their current league. Yø Rin wanted more and so, halfway through the season Fear Ye No Ordeal hit the big tournament circuit. They started of with the Dutch Open and doing well with a final 4th place ranking.
This tasted like more, and after finishing 3rd in the Tiptoe Through The Tulips #2 they were ready for winning a Cup. The Mad Hobbit Massacre had to be the first Cup to go into the Fear’s cupboard. Alas, all the good results had clouded the players’ minds and the tournament went pear shaped. The turning point came soon, luckily enough, and the Euro Cup gave Fear Ye No Ordeal five solid victories and the team became top favourite for the 2504 Dutch Open.
2504 Being one of the favourite sides for the DO didn’t do the Fear well. Mysterious deaths, practice accidents and the wrong size of sweatshirts kept them away from the DO. Now fully prepared and with bodyguards all around the Fear is taking the big step forward and will enter the Blood Bowl Tournament. With no highflying expectations the tournament will be a learning experience, hopefully finishing with a decent ranking and lots of Amazon players at the party!
