I think it's "M" in the injury field, but it's been a while since I used it (it didn't like our weird and wonderful Chaos rules).

Heya,

I don't often look around TFF but I came across this thread and had to add my bit.

I am glad to have the chance to thank the person who created the Halfling Scribe :) It is a brilliant resource that has helped all 4 of our league seasons so far and a tool I will use for sure moving forward.

Keep up the great work.

Starting a new league in January 2011 and have been playing around with this Excel tool. Looks tops, but I can't seem to get any of my testing teams to appear in the results dropdowns. What's the the secret? How do I record matches in the results tab?

Thanks!

I got confused by this at first too.

Select "Season" in the game type first. They you should see that the teams are in the drop downs for that row. Make sure each team has a name first though.

Perfect!

What about entering the scores and casualties. I can't seem to get two different numbers in (like 3:4 or whatnot).

Each team has their own box - after selecting the teams, press tab to go to the next box.

I'm using this program to run a league at my local club, it's excellent but how do I enter a niggling injury on a player?

Not on my PC at the moment, but I think you add "N", "Nig" or "Nigg" in the injury cell.

I tried that but it doesn't seem to do anything. Will writing Niggling Injury in the Injury box mess anything up for this player if he later receives another permanent injury such as -1 MA etc?

If you write N, Nig, or whatever you'd like in the "Injuries" cell, then it will appear in the "Skills, Permanent Injuries" cell. Personally I use 'N' 'cause it's short.
And of course you can add other stat decreases later as well.

Ok, cheers budd. :)

Next question, how do I remove induced players from the roster, i.e Journeymen and Mercenaries/Star players?

To achieve this complicated goal push the almighty delete button on your keyboard. :orc: (but first select the induced player's name)
After all it's still an excel table nothing more.
