Html Roster pictures tool
Hi,
i have created a small program which can add quickly the path of the player pictures in a new roster.
It's a very basic program and can be use fo NEW roster created by team editor or halfling scribe.
I plan to implement tools which allow us to modify/erase some player pictures but it's all i can do now, i just begin programming.
You can find it Here
I hope you will like it

Well, what can i say?
I really don't know why there is a failure!
i have download the file from the website and launch it, like you. Everything works ...
i will try to ask tom and ronald about delphi program. Maybe they have ideas... I hope there is a solution because i'm working on a bigger program and don't want to waste it.
Which OS do you use?

Sorry Dain, should be a bit more responsive on this type of stuff... I know it takes a lot of effort.
OK..... I don't have any problem with running the application - just double click in Windows Explorer and it opens.... so good so far (I'm using Windows ME).
The tool basically adds 16 images which you name and the tool adds:-
1.jpg
2.jpg
3.jpg
.
.
16.jpg
to the end of the names. IE each picture has the same name except for the 1, 2, 3 bit at the end.
This means that you have to rename all the pictures so that they correspond with the names in the html. IMO this is more work than adding the picture refs in manually to the html. I would prefer the tool to work so that you have 16 slots and can pick a picture to put in each slot by using an explorer type interface. This would mean that you can keep all the pictures in one directory rather than keep opening a new directory for each team.
Not sure if this is doable - but thats how I would like to see it.
