MSBowl - 24th/25th February 2024 - Cheshire
Want to play some bloodbowl? Want to support a charity? Free on the 24th/25th February 2024? Then this post is for you!
I'd like to introduce you to MS Bowl, a 2 days 5 game charity bloodbowl tournament held in rural Cheshire.
Our very first event will be the 24th & 25th February 2024 and held at Ashton & Mouldsworth village hall CH3 8BG.
This will be a NAF sanctioned event with monies being raised for the MS Trust.
Currently restricted to 24 players, but we do have availability to hire larger/extra rooms if we get more interest than that.
Tickets are priced at £25 for NAF members, and will include a light lunch both days. Please contact us before buying tickets if you have special dietary requirements to ensure we can meet your requirements.
Tickets can be bought by sending money friends and family to paypal.me/msbowlah1
We have our own Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61550837552154 where we will be uploading further details and information about the event.
There will be swag for the event too - we are still working to clarify what this will be.
Interested? Follow this link to the event registration: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XMet-9 ... _gsyr5fdmA
We hope to see you all there.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

The OP has one post, this one, and hasn't been back since. I suspect they are never going to see messages here

Apologies everyone for the lack of replies, I've been sorting an issue with the venue that thought they had double booked. happily all sorted now and I can confirm that MSBowl will be going ahead as planned.

Re: MSBowl - 24th/25th February 2024 - Cheshire
If you have registered for the event you should have received an email from us this morning, but we've included here also. If you have yet to register and still wish to attend you can do so register at this link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XMet-9 ... #responses
Myself (Pete) and Paul are pleased to be able to report that with 11 people currently signed up for MS Bowl that the event will be going ahead as planned on the 24th and 25th of February.
We are also happy to report that some of the prize support has started to arrive for the event and will consist of tokens for all participants, and trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as a wooden spoon trophy.
A few admin parts for the event:
1) Car parking. The venue has car parking for roughly 14 cars, on street parking is also available outside the venue. Please note that the venue does not have marked parking bays, please be considerate of others when parking
2) Should you arrive at the event before the TO then the building is unlikely to be unlocked. Please wait for the TO to arrive if this is the case.
3) Please be aware that we do not have sole use of the venue for the duration of the event, and other rooms have been booked for other events. Please be considerate of other users of the venue.
4) If you have them please bring a pitch and dice. Whilst the organisers have a few spare pitches we do not have enough to cover everyone.
5) A light lunch is covered for both days, where possible we will attempt to cover any dietary requirements we have been informed of, but unless we have confirmed we can cater to this this cannot be guaranteed and you should be prepared to make alternative arrangements.
6) To ensure there are no byes, in the event of an odd number of participants the a TO will play against the lowest placed player each round. The TO is NOT eligible for any prizes.
7) please ensure that teams rosters are emailed for the 19th to allow time for the TO to review before the event. These do not need to be the same race you indicated on the registration form.
If you have yet to pay for the event can you also please do this by the 19th.
9) Please do take the time to re-read the tournament rules here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Wm_ ... GuNMU/edit
10) tea/coffee making facilities are available
