Details

• This is a pairs tournament. Two coaches will play together as a team against other pairs of coaches. The first round is random draw for each team and the individuals within it and then teams / coaches are paired by Swiss
• If you come along solo then you will be paired
• All coaches have 1,200,000 gold pieces to build your team – recommend checking the event special rules
• No pair may use the same team twice e.g. 2 paired coaches cannot both use Orcs.
• Painted teams please
• Resurrection format.

Teams and Tiers.

Tier 1 -Amazons, Chaos Dwarf*, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf*, Lizardmen, Norse, Undead, Skaven, Underworld, Wood Elf, Orcs
Tier 2 -Black Orc, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Necromantic, Tomb Kings*, Nurgle, Khorne, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegade, Old World Alliance ,Vampire*, Slann**
Tier 3 -Snotlings, Goblins, Halflings, Ogres.

Skill package.

Tiers can add the following skills for free:
• Tier 1 – 2 primary, 1 secondary
• Tier 2 – 4 primary, 1 secondary
• Tier 3 – 6 primary, 2 secondary
• One player on a team can receive 2 skills.
• A max of 2 additional skills the same per team

Inducements.

• All common inducements on pg 84 of Bloodbowl 2020 rule book allowed.
• Death Zone Giant allowed (go on take one!). A giant they can be one of your 11 though cannot take additional skills… let the carnage ensue.
• Death zone and Spike sideline staff and wizards NOT allowed
• No cards or Death Zone mercenaries.


Star Players.

• 11 players minimum must be taken before stars
• As well as their gold crown cost all stars cost 2 primary skill
• The following stars cost 2 primary and 1 secondary skill:
o Griff, Hakflem, Morg, Kreek, Bomber and Cindy.

Event Special Rules.

• If you coach a hungry team (halfling, vampires, ogres, team with two or more trolls rostered, team with a giant) you get the traditional free roast dinner re-roll (hungry team + giant is only 1 re-roll)
• Giants cost 250,000 – go big or go home
• A giant can be one of your starting 11… let the carnage begin!
• Every team can take a Mealtime the Mutant as one of their 11. Costs the same as lineman, has the same stats and comes with a free mutation (your choice). Mealtime cannot have any additional addon skills. If you take a Mealtime you MUST include him in your starting 11 roster and on every drive (unless he gets killed lol).
• Players with throw team mate can try to intercept thrown players from the opposition team and then throw as per bomb rules. Negatraits for throwing a caught opposite player are in effect e.g always hungry.

Scoring.

• 20 points for a win.
• 10 points for a draw.
• 5 points for a perfect defence (No TDs conceded).
• 2 point for each TD (up to 3 max) and CAS scored (up to 3 max). CAS from fouls, crowd surfing count.
• Max score of 37 points per round.

Tiebreakers will be:
• TD difference.
• CAS difference.
• Lowest Tier.
• Strength of schedule

Food

• Wetherspoons, other pubs, restaurants, takeaways, cafes, supermarkets are right next to the venue
• Two vats of gravy (one vegetarian) will be there with a huge pile of Yorkshire Puddings to snack on
• The venue has a kitchen with hot drinking making facilities. Bring your own food and drink if you so wish

Cost £18

• Everyone gets 2 Gravy Bowl dice
• As before I always go the extra mile for some crazy little additions and prizes (see the previous two Gravy Bowl posts)

Few questions:
Does the Mealtime the Mutant mini have to be accurate? Or can I get away with being lazy and proxy it?

I asked this in discord, but thought I'd rewrite it here: Is the intention that all Death Zone inducements are banned, or is it just the staff and wizards? For example, can I take a Waaagh Drummer or Team Mascot?

I’ve attached my mutant from Gravy Bowl 2 (non-NAF event) and it had to relation to any of the skills, so pretty sure you can use what you like.

Any mini is fine mate for Mealtime. Just making an opportunity for people to show off their creative kitbashing and painting skills. A few examples of last times ones are on the bottom of the rules pack.

Any thing other than wizards and sideline staff from Deathzone allowed. Oh and no mercenaries.
