Block on the Tyne is back for a 3rd addition and this time it’s close enough to the Tyne to warrant it’s name.

This will be an individual 1 day, 3game NAF ranked tournament on 22Oct2022:

The venue has great transport links, situated very close to the Regent Centre interchange. With great amenities nearby for food/drinks.

Limited to 26 coaches.

Schedule:
9:15-9:45 registration
9:45-12:00 game 1
12:00-12:45 lunch
12:45-15:00 game 2
15:15-17:30 game 3
17:30-18:00 awards
18:00 - late social

Scoring will be:
20 pts for a win
10 pts for a draw
-50 for a concede

A maximum of 3 bonus points will be available each round.
Winning by 2 or more TDs
Conceding 0 TDs
Scoring in both halves

Tiebreakers:
Total score
Bonus pts
Opponents score (strength of schedule)
Net TD + NET CAS
If there is still a tie a coin toss will decide the winner.

The first round will be drawn randomly, subsequent rounds will use the Swiss matchmaking method.

Roster building will use the Malta Eurobowl rules found here http://www.eurobowl.eu/2022/default.asp?p=2

You must be a member of the NAF to participate, sign ups and renewals can be done on the day for £5.

No need to submit, it will be down to your opponents to double check legality pre game. No penalties will be applied mid/post game if there is a discrepancy found, pre game just amend roster and crack on.
