So, I spend 1.4 mil on my team....... Can I be paired with someone who spent 1.4 on theirs ?? Seems like random pairings could be an issue unless all coaches spend 1.2 mil each? Or am I missing something, because I don't think anyone is only fogging to spend 1mil.......

Oh, Mark me as in BTW, will sort it out once I'm in country again!

It's not random pairings - you come as a team of 2.

E.g. player 1(e.g. Glowworm) And player 2 (e.g Thor) decide to form a team. They buy a ticket £50 and build their rosters for the weekend.

Pairings are then random for the first round, treatibg each pair as you would normally treat an individual in a Swiss tournament.

Hope this makes sense.

I reckon I might be interested in this one sounds different

If I can get anybody who will team with me lol

P.S. I think Glow was talking about if he and his team mate pick teams so he has 1.4m and his team mate has 1m would he be only facing opponents with 1.4m or would he be facing random opponents who might have 1m.

On a similar note if that match up occurred would there be inducements?

Pairs would be as follows.

Pair A (player 1 and 2) won their first round 3-1 and 1-0.
Pair B (player 3 and 4) won their first round 2-1 and 0-0.

They are drawn to play each other in round 2. Player 1, as he has the better record of the pair, would play against player 3, who has the better record of his pair.

There would be no inducements, as the pairs value would be the same. So it is possible for a 1mil team to play vs a 1.4mil team, and the 1mil team would not receive any inducements. Players will play with the list they submit at the start of round 1, no add ons, etc.
