Just found a decent hotel price to reserve, but can't pay until the week of the event. Reckon you'll be full by then?

Hi Merrick, it's selling well at the mo so it's a possibility. But if you're a definite then I can hold the place & you can pay that week.

What have you found? I was struggling to get anything reasonable (my fault for leaving it so late, I know!), but might be cheaper with two of us in a twin room?

I reserved a double room at Holiday Inn Express Stockport. Was about £130 for two nights, I think?

EDIT: Dug out the email, it's £125.

As an alternative, I'm Air bnb'ing this year. I'm collecting places to stay around the venue

I also suspect people will thoroughly enjoy my contribution to the cd...

Hadn't thought about that. I've not used Air bnb, before. How's it looking?

There were a couple of places for £30-40 a night, private room in a house. Will see how it goes, as its not exactly as though I'll be in the place for a vast amount of time over the weekend.
