Hi guys, I sent my payment on the 21st but haven't received anything by reply...
Payment should have come from
mnk.nemeth@googlemail.com
I said in the note to use a different email address by reply... Appreciate it's Christmas so no big rush, just want to be confirmed as attending as we've already sorted travel and accommodation.

Can anyone recommend somewhere remarkably cheap to stay nearby?
Can anyone do a train station pick up / drop off . . . . . or is anyone driving there and passing through north Gloucestershire?

Ibis Newport is cheap but basic and it's about 20 - 30 minutes walk away. If we get to stay there we may ( I'm not the driver ) be able to give you a lift in.

I have stayed at Travellodge Newport. It is just next to the train station, and quite affordable. There tend to be other BBers there as well.

As a local, I'd prob recommend the Travelodge on Bridge St.
Its slightly pricier than the Ibis, but its bang opposite the train station and is in the town centre as opposed to a short taxi ride away. Also its only a few min walk from the bus station should you not be able to thumb a lift to the venue (you need the number 19 Malpas bus).
