Man down!

Alas we've had someone drop out so Speedingbullet's Ogres are now playing Monkeyjuice's Nurgle.

It is exceptionally unlikely . . . . . but if anyone wants to play tomorrow who has not signed up then suddenly its not too late!!

and if anyone knows how to remove a match from the first round draw please let me know! I added a round easily enough after the draw was made but can't work out how to take our Wobert/Moneyjuice now Monkeyjuice has been moved up to SpeedingBullet.

think I've sorted it. you take out the teams from the start file then there are two blanks for the round. then when the scores are in it seems to ignore it for the new round. we'll see for sure tomorrow. otherwise there could be a little delay between round 1 and 2! ;-)

should be fine.

What is your ETA Cameron? You'll presumably come through Gloucester? If so what time? I could pick you up? May save 10-20 of waiting for a connection.

Good luck at AWM2everyone :)

There's quite a few coaches here who are competing on the SWTC.

Hawca is currently leading the table and is absent from AWM2, giving everyone chance to catch up.
20P is currently in 2nd place and two of his scores are from 1 day events, so he should do well from this.
Dionysian is in 4th, but 6.5 points behind. Will he garner enough to jump up a few places?
Hawk, in 5th, is a wild card. His performance is as random as a dice ;) But again two of his scores are 1 dayers, so should he do well this weekend he'll go up the board.

There's quite a few other coaches jockeying for position below the leaders, all waiting for a chance. Is this it? With 6 points available to the winner (10 plus 1 per every 10 below them, halved) there could be quite a change.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Cornish will post the final standings but here are the various trophy winners . . . . .

1st - Dionynsian (Undead)
2nd - Besters (Humans)
3rd - Maverick (Halflings)
4th - Itchen (Goblins)

Most Casualties - Itchen (Goblins)
Most Touchdowns - Monkey1985 (Skaven)
Star Player - Hobnail (Wood Elfs)
Rookie Wonder - Cravenmoorhead (Orcs)
Stunty Cup - Maverick (Halflings)
Wooden Spoon - Rubick (Ogres)

On top of that lot there were 6 spot prize winners (all different to the above) and a number of quiz winners (not sure who as I was mostly busy doing the inter-round admin). Anyway everyone left with the tournament mini plus a lot of people got something extra.

Keep your eyes out for the vote on the AWM III star player coming your way soon.

Someone left a Skaven team in a KR case and a paper copy of the rules. I have them so let me know who you are!

Great day, 4 excellent opponents, many thanks to all

1/1/2 with Khemri, win v ogres, drew v W/E (2-2) and lost v Necro & Ogres happy with that.

Now ( if they are back from the painters) onto a "competitive team" for a while.

Auld World Masters II 14/05 - SPace for 1 due to drop out!

Post by nazgob »

Thanks for a great tournament. I really enjoyed my day, and should apologise to Hawk for getting a bit weary in game four.

I have learned that underworld are not designed to be stunties. Ouch.
