I can get the train to/from Bristol easily enough if someone can give me a lift from there.

The venue is a hotel, but is not exactly the cheapest around.
Being a tourist town, there are literally hundreds of B&Bs and Hotels in the immediate area. Plus camp sites (if that's your thing) and hostels. I could not possible list them all.
