DOUBT III - Europe's northernmost NAF-sanctioned tournament. Umeå, Sweden the 7th-8th of January 2012. Be there or be a equal-sided rectangular shape. Let me be the first to express my interest. Google Translate does a lot of European languages, but the Swedish translation service is pretty rubbish. Allow me to sum up the selling points (and add some no-brainer user guidelines):
Format: Six games Swiss/non-progression/resurrection. Rigged draw for stunties.
Team creation: TV120 plus skill pack. Minimum 11 players +0-1 star players (0-2 for stunties). No inducements, except chef for flings and bribes for gobbos.
Rules: LRB6/CRP plus Slann/Pact/Underworld. Custom weather table to reflect the fell winter in Norsca.
Application: Registered payment of 50SEK or equivalent (use any currency converter, common sense and add exchange fees) to 7947-1235073 (Swedish bank account; overseas please contact for details) on December 12th at the latest. Places in the tourney may be available at the door (at 100SEK), if we have enough tables and can reach an even number of coaches. NAF membership not required.
Winnings: Swag bag for all pre-registered coaches. Sponsored team and individual minis for winners.
I am very happy for DOUBT to be taken over by the competent hands of Stareater and move to the winter holidays. I believe the winter is the optimal time to have the northernmost official NAF tournament of the world, when entropy (hence chaos) is at its peak and when drinking hard liquor and playing a warming game of Blood Bowl is about the only things we can do to pass the dark and freezing months of the year.

Valen, mate, you would be most welcome! The furthest any coach has travelled so far to the DOUBT is from Örebro in the southern counties (please correct me if I am wrong; I have a nagging feeling that I am). I know the flights are what might be the biggest issue, since a connecting domestic flight is more or less mandatory (trains from Stockholm to Umeå take about 12 hours). If we get a lot of overseas coaches posting their interest here we could try and come up with some clever plans for accommodation.

I might add that there will be a (reduced) Neomics group order at DOUBT III, if you want part you should contact tourney and attach specification and payment for your order to the tourney fee payment, which for the Neomics order has to be with us latest December 1st (subject to change).

Great summary Odium Khan. Should cover the basic info. I'm not that sure about the "competent hands of Stareater" though.
Some additional info:
- Only one extra skill / stat increase per player and the packages are
-Skill Package A: (4 normal skills)
-Skill Package B: (1 double skill and 2 normal skills)
-Skill Package C: (2 double skills)
-Skill Package D: (+AG and 1 normal skill)
Due to some problems where the bank account refused to receive entry fees there is now a new bank account number, 7947-1235073 (Still Swedish Bank account).

I'll probably be coming seeing as it's trettonhelg and therefore less time off work.
Not thinking about tourneys until after the World cup though.
I'll probably hook up with Gav and fly up with him. Whether he comes in same day or flies over and stops at mine the night before is another matter and entirely up to him.

One month until the preregistration closes and two weeks if you want to join the discounted order from our miniature sponsor and get the minis at the tourney. With the amount of interested players we might have a hard time finding a suitable venue to house them all so it is recommended that you preregister and don't get turned down at the door. We are giving a one day respite for players traveling far so they can see the number of preregistered players before they actually commit with plane tickets and all. Just let me know in advance and I will keep you in the loop.
For those of you going to the world cup next weekend (or the Stockbowl for that matter), I wish you good luck.

Last day of preregistration for local coaches (A one day respite for others). Still a few hours left to preregister, but we have twelve coaches so far. A bit less than I had hoped for, especially since we got a huge amount of people that were interested, but still a decent amount for this region.
PREREGISTER NOW!!!
...or you will miss out on the custom dice and might get denied access to the tournament if too many for our venue show up at the tournament.
