Quality tournament, thanks all! Schmee and Purplegoo are an unlikey but inspirational doubleact of their own Well done chaps! I even enjoyed the curry... though it sounds like we got lucky on our table...

Oh dear! Get well soon. If we do it again, perhaps different food is a good idea.

Interesting weekend chaps. Nice to see so many new faces too.
Sorry about leaving early on Sunday, but 4 hours drive home (plus extra for stupid prats crashing their cars on a motorway....sigh) is a fair bit. Maybe an earlier start & finish on Sunday next year?
On the food front, apparently there is an ethnic diversity street festival that weekend in Cambridge (or so a man on the bus told us) - may be worth looking into?

You can’t win them all.
When I leave the Waterbowl 19:00ish next year to traverse the joyous M6 / A14 route myself, I’ve no doubt I’ll feel a bit depressed too, but it’ll be my own fault! If we’d started early, we’dve only got the Sunday morning early start groans from those that wanted a big Saturday. Can’t please all of the people, all of the time. The tournament more or less ran to schedule (which I was pretty happy with, considering), and 18:30 is hardly a stand out late Sunday finish across the scene as a whole. I suppose if one is going to be the sort of hardcore nerd that travels the width of the country, the odd late drive is par for the course!
I really enjoyed the curry, as it goes (I think it was a 50/50 split). I’d rather have gone with something that someone had prior positive experience of than chance our arms with hungry nerds to feed. In hindsight, it wasn’t perfect, and of course if there is to be a next time, we’ll look at it, but it was the best choice available at the time.

Stop analysing and appeasing everyone Phil! I thought the curry was rubbish and I stayed til the end for a four and a bit hour drive home... Had a GREAT weekend though! Stop worrying!

Chill Phill! All I was offering was some information on an alternative (if you felt that you didn't want to do the same curry again next year). And the earlier start suggestion was for also for next year too. Overall I thought it was a decent tournie LOLZ@ Leicester Rantzen too!!!

Great tournament, made even better by the proximity to my house more tournaments should be a leisurely 30 minutes walk away! Big thanks to all my opponents for 6 fun games. My only suggestion for improvement next year would be a prize for most TDs in case I win it again Any chance of getting team and/or individual scores posted up?
