This is a fantasy slash Bloodbowl tournament being run by the bristol biguns club in Iron Acton near bristol, places are going fast at the moment so get your entrie in if your interested. A ticket is £18 by cheque or £19 through paypal. Follow this link for the entrie form http://www.biguns.co.uk/tournaments/Bri ... 20Form.pdfThe rules pack is up aswell on the biguns tournament page but it does not yet include the details of the special halloween match. The teams are also 1,100,000gc and the rules are based on those introduced by Swat (Swindon Wargamers and tacticians) And is therefore a fun and quite differnt form of playing, please check the rules pack here; http://www.biguns.co.uk/tournaments/Bri ... lepack.pdfso as to be sure that your team adheres to the Team building comp mentioned. The most important things to note are that each game will be a one off, therefore your team will be revived fully for each game, therefore you'll always have an unmarked new team, as well as not having any skills or star player points with the exceptions mentioned in the rulespack. Also Star players may not be used although the teams authorised by the NAF may be used such as the Slann team and Chaos pact team, again see rules pack for details, Any questions about the event simply follow the link included in the rulespack to email me. Cheers, Matt

welcome to the forum and good luck with the event, though it does clash with rocket bowl up in leicester
not sure what the rules swat introduced, it looks to be standard 1.1m one skill after each game unless I read it wrong? also only five games rather than six
also is that email address right, it starts mr.mr.g... is it meant to have mr twice?

Hi, I've exchanged emails with Matt about this - it's a standard 5 game skill progression, one skill after each game, none at the beginning. We had an inter-club one day challenge last year, which is the rules he is talking about. They are a good bunch of guys, and it would be good to support this one if you're in the area. And it does have mr twice It's not NAF ranked, but I think this is just from lack of experience. As it's open to all, Matt, no reason not to get it on the NAF calendar, though as Grum points out it clashes with an event in Leicester. It's run at the same time/venue as a Warhammer Fantasy event. Mike

Thanks guys, when I took on the job of running it this year I decided to bring forward of the idea of a combined event again and BB was chosen as both our club and other local clubs have been having a great revival of it recently. Yes there are two mr's in front its a joke really as my intials are M R therefore I'm techinaly Mr MR Garlick or mister mister lol. I'll look into the NAF thing. At the moment were only running a smallish scale BB section as we weren't sure how much interst we could get but as a club were very keen to make this a regular thing if it goes well. I'll keep you all posted of developments as they happen,
Cheers, Matt

Im good for this one (I think, have to check work commitments) however, 3 hours a match ? C'mon guys im pretty sure if you cut it back to 2 or 2 1/2 (which is pretty standard tournement timings) and added another match on the Sunday (for 6 in total) you'll get more interest. Add NAF Ranked and you're on the money, I understand theres a tourney in Leicester (Rocketbowl I believe) that weekend but theres always something else going on (which is great) yes i was at the first one of these (1 day) did pretty average with Humans if I remember correctly

I'm defiantly going to take something different, I was thinking something 'vanilla' and i'm leaning towards Orcs rather than Humans. Either way I've got to get painting.
