Top stuff, and nice to finally be back at a tournament, great crowd of people as ever, 5 great games and some rather lovely scenery on display in the other rooms; all very civilised! Thanks to my opponents and the organisers for an enjoyable weekend. Don't suppose anyone picked up my thermos flask di they?!

If it was a small blue? one then someone from the Corrivalry mentioned a flask as I left.

Hi there Guys,

just wanted to say a massive thank you for your support.

It was really great for me to see this go ahead as it was looking unlikely at one stage due to space issues. Thank you for making it the success it was.

And thank you Ragnar for being ref supreme.

Well done to the Champions!

Take care, regards

Steve

Hi all.

We are planning a tournament here at The Games Vault in September.

I would appreciate your thoughts on the way we assigned skill rolls at Corrivalry.

Did a random roll work or do you think it is better to allow each player to choose.

Many thanks, regards

Steve

Entirely up to you, either is good. The only thing I would personally change is to have 1.1 million rosters. This makes more teams (such as Chaos Dwarves, Lizzies and Dark Elves from a selfish point of view  ) more appealing.

Whilst agreeing with Matt that more teams are viable at higher values, variety is good. I tend to prefer skills being taken up front for example, rather than gaining experience through the tournament.

If you look through the tournament listings there are significant differences, for example, Monkeybowl puts the teams into tiers giving different Team Ratings and Skill options to teams in each tier.

I understand you may have difficulty getting a 2nd tournament in a year NAF ranked, if that is your intention, but I am by no means an expert on this.
