Thank you to all. Especially Schmee, Geoffrey, Glum and Jeeves for all their help.

And thanks to Tritex for prize support as usual!

Sorry about Joe Rig’s. Particular apologies go to Marley and Tritex who didn’t get their meals at all. The restaurant clearly didn’t cope well with 40-50 people. I’ll look into different options for next time.

I’ll post all the final placings as soon as possible. Hopefully the rankings will be in by the end of the week too.

Really pleased that so many normally weaker teams did well. That was the idea so I’m delighted it worked out.

Not well enough for my liking, I demand more options for shennanigans and gimmicks next yr!

Thanks to Bren and the rest of the MonkeyBowl crew and to my opponents.

Smashing job, Pippy. Always a good one, the Monkeybowl, which I guess is why I've been to them all. But this one was particularly memorable for me due to a really great ruleset that expanded the field to pretty much most of the races (and yes I did lose to Underworld with my Wood Elves), but more so for the good night out on Saturday night. Lisa and the kids remarked several times about the good blokes that play Bloodbowl and that "some of them aren't nearly as geeky as they look". ;o) Good times.

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when they find out, you're a mile away...... and you have their shoes.

Echoing the words of others, great fun and thank you Pippy & co. Thought the skill system was pretty cool and although I don't think I'd want it at every tournament, if it stays like that next year then Monkeybowl is going on the list of "must do" tourneys :)

fantastic event bren & team, very well done, and thanks to matt, jim, geoff, ally, dave and stan for some top games.

I too think the rules set is great, it was good to see so many lower tier teams doing so well. Definitely back next year!

Thanks also to my Nurgle's 6 opponents: Jai (Skaven L 1-2: totally outbashed by rats :0), Ally (Dwarves L 0-1), Glum (Norse D 1-1), Jeeves (Goblins + Morg W 2-0), Hangus (Norse W 2-1: Hangus had possibly the worst dice ever... + when we got pitch invasion at the start of the second half, my +2 Fame meant 8 of his players were stunned vs 1 of mine), Shaun (Lizardmen W 2-0).

I really enjoyed my weekend at my 1st Monkeybowl.

Like to add my thanks to Brendan for a well run tourney at a good venue.

Cheers to all my opponents for 6 good games - pretty much all of them were close & could have went either way.

Thanks to Pippy and co. for a fab weekend, and thanks to all my opponents for 6 great games.

However, I am starting to feel that BB tournies are hotbeds of infection; I have had horrendous colds immediately after both tournaments I have been to this year!

I blame Shanie's Nurgle team. Atchoo! Sniff. Bleh. :(

THanks to Bren for a really enjoyable tournament, even though I played Rycos for the 3rd time in four tournaments this year.

Do we have a list of the final placings?
