I'm a midlander, as it goes, so I'm easily switchable if it makes life easier at any point. Frankly, I think all of you weirdos from the extremes of the country are as bad as each other, so it makes no odds to me! :D

Yeah. North are better. What else do you need to know? (The Sun is hot? Grass is green?)

Su-n?

If I'd not gone down and visited the folks this weekend, I think I would have forgotten what that was. ;)

Ronnie:

just sorting my team choice out.
gonna come & play with a completely new (to me) team...

Go a couple of Rules clarifications please...

1) LRB 5

so is this solely LRB5 or LRB5 with BBRC Review 2007 &/or 2008?

as your rule pack says LRB, i'm assuming that LRB6 (which some people are already playing) rules will not be played.

the only exception being the 3 new endorsed races.

just want to make sure i bring correct rule set, as i'm not up to speed with LRB6.

2) Skill Selection

just checking i'm reading this correctly
(this is fairly self explanatory, this is just a double check)

8 Skills in total (1 before 1st Match)
No Stats Increases
No More than 1 Skill per Player

Select Player & Roll for Skill
(Doubles opens access to all Skills as normal, as per std rules)

Now for the Important Question:

Can you take the same skill more than twice?

I can't see anything saying 'No' but understand that this is fairly standard at other tournaments...

appreciate if you could confirm this either way?

looking forward to weekend.

cheers,

Phil

Phil,

It's normally fine to take multiple of the same skill, however there are a couple of tournaments that don't but they are the exception to the rule. If it doesn't say restricted then it isn't.

LRB 5.0 is deffo LRB 5.0 and not 6.0. Rockin' Ronnie will have to confirm whether the clarifications are used or not, but tbh it makes little difference.

rodders

you mean the evil git patented one team for everything humanoid team that was just a black undercoat in it's first incarnation with positions wrote on the base? well they are now in stage 2 partly painted and i can't be bothered to actually get them finished to use as humans. they're now my chaos pact team although there is a load of humans and an ogre done so maybe.....

could use them as norse as well now there's an idea

you going to this one rodders?
