Great weekend off the pitch. On the pitch I came up with some truly awesome plays only to experience Dumb and Dumber (the Troll Twins) pulling repeated double acts of "duuuuhhhh"ness of scupper them. Probably the closest Stunty Cup battle ever, taken by Igor only at the last second after doubling his bribe to the head ref
The North, proving yet again their superior skills, and making sure the trophy is in the right place.
As for "Mad Dog". MAD DOG??? WTF!!!?? Lap Dog more like

You say that like it's a bad thing!lucifer wrote:Probably the closest Stunty Cup battle ever, taken by Igor only at the last second after doubling his bribe to the head ref
It was a great weekend, and a very well natured but competitve stunty-duel to boot. Da Smarteez also suffered their usual (often frustrating) mix of the "1/1, 2/1, 2/2 dodge-fest" and dice defying "how the hell did they pull that off?" plays that dog their existance, but somehow stumbled over the line (their fans are violent, aren't they Dave ). Definately glad we made the decision to play the little sods. Need to organise some landing training for the little gits though
Cheers to all for a great weekend, and some often stupid but hugely enjoyable games. Cheers Ronnie, and congratulations again to the winners of the proper competitions!

This was a top event! Thanks to ronnie and lowny for running the show and to all my opponents for 6 ace games. The north v south thing was a real treat too.
The one downer was that having travelled all the way south I had to play 3 waterbowlers. Also, I’ll cry the next time I arrive somewhere and the organiser draws me against my housemate for round 1.

At least you didn't draw your housemate in R1 AND get your arse kicked.Jimjimjimany wrote:Also, I’ll cry the next time I arrive somewhere and the organiser draws me against my housemate for round 1.
Seriously though, thanks Ronnie and Lowney, it was a great event. Top venue, curry was superb as well.
