The WPS Club Challenge - 16th-17th May 2009

Afternoon,

The WPS will once again be running a Blood Bowl tournament at their annual Club Challenge.

The Club Challenge is the WPS's premier inter-club inter-system wargaming competition. An on-campus weekend of wargaming and socialising with hundreds of gamers from across the country, and then a few more that've flown in specially.

The 2009 Club Challenge will take place on the weekend of 16th-17th May 2009, at the Adelphi Britannia Hotel in Liverpool.

Looks like its nearly full too. Is anyone else who frequents these boards attending? It would be nice to put faces to names.

(Apart from Lucifer of course, as I believe they're already putting your name on the trophy

)

Me and Porritt are now signed up. Well, I've sent my entry in and am waiting for confirmation.

Don't mention putting names on trophies to Lucifer, that sort of thing gets him into trouble...

does anyone know if there are still any spaces at this one? I want to go but can't open the entry form on the wps web site.

is anyone else having problems opening it?

I had trouble opening the file at first, Craig.

Managed to open it up at work though. Might be to do with not having an updated version of Adobe reader...?

There still seem to be places left (22 entrants at the moment). And I think space is not strictly limited.

Managed to get a copy printed off and sent in so I guess I'll just have wait and see if there are spaces left(fingers crossed)

Hopefully there should be space. They managed to get an extra room at the venue which allowed for extra places, the room will probably be exclusively BloodBowl due to setting it up and time constraints.

What's up though, did the Warhammer players object to us having fun nearby while they're trying to have a game??
