Dundee Tournament - Level of Interest?

Post by Ogre Marauder »

Hi folks,

Vaguely thinking about staging a tourney in Dundee - and looking to get an idea of how many folks would be interested.

May be 1-day or 2-day depending (one day - somewhat easier to arrange a venue for)
Would be held in Dundee (plenty of B&B accomodation available)
Would try not to clash with too many other tourneys... lol
Likely to be at the other end of the calendar to Albabowl (maybe January?)

If you'd be interested, send a reply, and depending on what response I get, I'll have a further think...

For a two dayer, I would be interested. For a one dayer I think the distance people would have to travel would put them off

Both 1 or 2 days would be fine for me.

But I echo other peoples posted that 2 day (and thus NAF) will garner more support from south of the border.

Hi folks,

A decent number of replies in a relatively short time - will give this some more thought (and almost certainly go for a two-dayer)...

Rob - original mail said I'd try to complement AlbaBowl (could never compete with it due to the copious amounts of homebrew on offer!) - so probably the other end of the year when it's cold and yucky :)
