ALL AUSTRALIA / NZ Tournaments

Post by Babs »

Hi! In case you're not aware every now and then I send out a 'shout out'
about tournaments coming up in the calendar.

Just recently, The SandGroper Cup in Perth absolutely put most tournaments
to shame with their well run, awesomely stocked (prizes) and greatly
marketed tournament with over 30 coaches.

DICE
~~~~
I now have the new colour dice. They are Yellow with
blue symbols! If you have no idea whatI'm talking about - they are the 'gift' block dice you get with membership from www.thenaf.net
NAF prize support
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm pleased to see a boom of Blood Bowl tournaments happening world wide -
but it is definately sweeping Australia as well (Come on NZ!)
As a result, there is a change to the way the NAF sponsor tournaments.
Previously in AUS, prize support was linked to the number of NAF coaches who
attended. However, due to the fact that many coaches attend a plethora of
tournaments (Yes GardenGnome I'm talking about you and the Carnage Crew!)
this method of sponsorship has become unsustainable. As a result I have
negotiated for the prize support to be linked to NAF signups at each
tournament. This may mean a reduction of the NAF prizes at tournaments.

The good news is that NAF tournaments world wide have NEVER had such a level
of support - and we continue to recieve a higher involvement in tournaments
than every other country around the world - and if you don't believe me ask
around.

So sneaky old me encourages you to think about when you renew your NAF
membership and if you have been doing so online (through www.thenaf.net )
to consider signing up at a tournament so we receive more $$$ towards prize
support.
