Another fantastic Weekend by the sea and another trophy in my bag! Still cant believe I managed it. 6 Great games and playing Lycos twice, made it a carbon copy of last year.

Well done to frank and the boys (and girls).

See you next year for number 4!

Hi guys!

We were too exhausted to count any of the shrapnel, but notes alone from the event and Mark and Shanes "nearly naked Run" added up to £1470, which when added to the amount in the BRGA account so far makes £1800+.

Still to come in are a few auction payments, More sponsor money and I've still got to transfer some late paypal payments in, so I'm confident we will more than double last years total!!

Whereas it was important to make as much as possible for CRUK, more important still was to put smiles on your faces. I think we succeeded in this.

Again well done to Stick - we will make him a Triple Crown in light of his achievement of STILL being the ONLY EVER winner of Thrudbowl.

If he bothers to turn up next year (after all, we can't be giving him that much competition can we?), I think we'll have to limit him to TR100 ( a kind of handicap) to give everyone else a chance!!!!

There are far too many people to thank for all of the help BRGA had in organising this event (I'll spend most of August writing thank you letters), but you all know who you are, we fanku from the Heart of our bottoms!

Above all for next year, I'm looking forward to seeing if Shane can get Jervis to be his waxing buddy (for then I'll not have to do it), to get Bush Tucker Revenge on Mark for making me eat maggts!!! , and the possibility of starting Thrudbowl world domination in the form of a Thrudbowl USA tourney too!!! (if GW's lawyers don't have a problem with it)

What a great weekend!!!

Frank, Mark, Althea (Alf) and the rest of the BRGA guys are an inspiration, working enthusiastically and tirelessly in organising, promoting and running Thrudbowl.

On another note, I'd say a particular vote of thanks must go to Mark and Alf who welcome us into their home as a venue for our gaming nights. In the relatively short time since I've joined the BRGA, I've been made to feel most welcome and among friends.

I'm really looking forward to next year. I'm wondering if anyone can beat Stick? and will Bognor High Street ever be the same after Mark and Shane's Leather Thong adventure?

Well, what a weekend that was! Not only did i manage to come in last place and win the dockbowl, i also won most thrud'like and a caption comp... along with half the hair on my body

There are quite a few memorable moments from the weekend:

* Playing my 1st game on table 1 and then my last game being on the bottom table.
* Playing against Mark with the winner getting a free waxing strip against the losser.
* Saying 'who the hell is going to pay £120 for a painted team' and then paying £155 for the same team later in the day
* The look on Frank's face when i out bit him at £155 for the painted Bunny team
* Winning the dice-off for the Dockbowl Championship
* Leaving my mark on Bogna... But the streets have never seen a better looking arse in years Must admit that im surprised me and Mark didnt get arrested for our 30 minute run round the pubs in Bogna.

Now i just have to figure out how to go one step more for next year...
