Spoke to buggrit and glowworm this evening - we'll be piling down in the car from Swindon! Any ideas for where to stay?

Further to this - now looking at accommodation, as I think the South West gets busy in the summer :o

Any venue details?

Mike

The venue has been confirmed as the Barracuda, slap bang in the middle of Newquay for those who have never been to the Newquay Bowl.

Make sure those rooms and caravans are booked boys and girls.

Brilliant. I know everyone loved the "house" that year but I feel the Barracuda is the home of Newquaybowl.

Geggster (and Lisa) are going btw but what to do about a place to stay? With you (Valen) not being local anymore.....is there a good spot we can book? Do we know of somewhere/anything near the club?

I looked at Treloy touring park, a caravan park near the venue, but:
- mixed groups only (oops)
- week long bookings in August only (oops)

No further as yet!

There's the hostel I've used before - about 500yards up the road from the Barracuda, and opposite the bar where Rhino works (just for DC).
If I can remember what the hell it was called, I'd book now...

As I remember it didn't Grum make special friends with the fella? If Jon is coming I should be fine, he would keep the guys attention I think...

Bertie's Lodge is 0.2 miles away from the Barracuda:

Barracuda: TR7 1DB
Bertie's: TR7 2NE

Snazzy website: http://www.bertieslodge.co.uk/

£36 pppn for staying Friday and Saturday night
£31 pppn for staying Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Hard to beat, I'm guessing. Only 31 places, we should book the whole place!
