We will see this october's rules review.

With the new minis for the Necro Undead coming out in sept., we might see the 3 experimental undead teams become official.

I really hope they've tweaked them in that case. If its the same rules as in the BB Mag, I'll start to cry

I personally am betting on Ogre and Vampires being definates this fall.
My bets:

Ogre - some version 100%
Vampire - some version 95%
Old World Pact - as is 75+%
New World Pact - as is 75+%
Chaos Pact - some version 50%, the large number big guys makes it iffy
Pro Elves - Low probibility, they just came out, should be playtested
Necro - not sure on this one, hardest debate for bbrc will be which version, delete the undead and necro as printed or change it and keep the undead. The only thing stopping this from becoming official will be the debate over which rule set

These are just my preditctions, if true i will remind everyone, if not i will edit my answer to make them true. :P

Galak's Bets:
1) Vampire roster from Annual with Hot List OFAB rewording: 100%
2) Ogre: 0% ... JJ's flat out told me he wants time for all 3 rosters to be tested for a year before making a decision.
3) All 3 Pact Teams with a reduction to only having 2 Big Guys max (and maybe a slight change in rerolls price from the Annual): 90%
4) Khemri with AV 8 change to the Blitz-Ras: 100%
5) Necro (some Version): 100% .... Necro (Annual version): 75% ... Necro #2 (MBBL tested version): 25% (this all comes down to whether the Undead get tossed or kept) .... combined
6) Pro Elves: 0%
7) Nurgle's Rotters: 90% ... (with STRONG odds ... say 70% of the Beast dropping to ST 5, gaining Tentacles, and upping to 130k from the Annual stats ... along with then becoming the only Big Guy the team can get).

Some variant of the Pro Elf (still a chance that the catcher will lose Leap and get NoS based on rumblings I've heard) and one of the 3 Ogre teams will become official in 2004.

Doing testing for the BBRC through the MBBL gives me some idea of what the timelines are for things based on when they want certain statistics by. However often what the final rosters will be is often a shot in the dark as I never get to talk to 3 of the 7 members and 2 others very infrequently. We'll see how these predictions pan out.

I would apply GW logic to this subject:
1. (question) Will XY become official ?
2. (lateral thinking + GW reduction) Are there minis to be sold ?
3. (we leave this for an exercize) ???
4. (conclusion) Profit !

Now, what was the question again? 8)
