I hate dwarves. Hate them, hate them, hate them. Therefore its not very surprising, that I find them most irritating to play against. I believe my hatred comes from the 2nd edition, in which dwarves were simply too good and easy to play.

They are so enjoyable to win and kill, though ;)

my favourite is human, but they are no better or worse than any of the other competitive, non experimental teams...

favourite race

Post by Aussie »

My current favourite race is High Elf, because of the 8 average armour class and the ease at which they can run and pass the ball. but i think the best race in terms of winning leagues would probably be wood elf due to the high average speed and agility

Several good opinions from a little while back.

It's really not a matter of better or worse, but rather strengths and weaknesses.

Except stunties, naturally... :D

You can't say this race is the best and this is the worst. The most are well balanced with their typicall strengths and weaknesses. OK halflings are an exception.

My favourite teams are the human ones. It's a decission of sympathy.
From these teams i like the amazons most and I play them in our local league.

Said it before, I'll say it again:

The best team is the one coached by the best coach.

i agree with the last point that the better coach will win, except if the law of the sod conspires against you.

Or according to Murphy's law,

The best team is whatever my opponent is playing.

law of the sod basically means that the dice conspire against you and keep showing you snake eyes. .
i played against a wood elf team last night with my high elves and broke 1 armour all match only got one completion failed lord knows how many dodges but hung on for a very entertaining draw.

Alway's known it as Sod's Law personally, but I know the feeling only too well.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
