Greetings all.
Can't remember if I made a post here when I first registered, but here I am. Made a few posts then disappeared.
Anyway, I'm Merrick, from Bristol. Getting back into the game after a long spell on the sidelines. Playing a lot of Cyanide to get back into it.
Hope to get involved a bit more.

Welcome. There is a strong league in Bristol if you want some tabletop games.

One assumes you are the same Merrick I met this last weekend at Gertbowl?

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Re: Greetings all.
Indeed I am. Met you at a couple of tournaments in Bristol before but they were spread so far apart that I doubt you remember me.lunchmoney wrote:One assumes you are the same Merrick I met this last weekend at Gertbowl?
I am hoping to get back to tabletop on a regular basis. General consensus at Vanguard Wargaming is that our league is dying a death, but we're hoping to start something up with the help of the shop owner again before too long, from what I've heard.Joemanji wrote:Welcome. Re: Greetings all.
Do not fear Merrick, you weren't the only one who asked me at Gert about the league. The league died due to people working, studying, etc over the summer. Hopefully a few of peoples commitments are out of the way now.
I'll get an e-mail out in the next couple of days to the regulars about getting something started as soon as next week.
On a more general note if there are any Bristolians, or those willing to travel to Bristol on a reasonably regular basis, who would like to know more about the Bloodbowl League at Vanguard Stores in Bristol drop me a PM.

Aye, Gert Bowl II and Bloody Saturday, both at Cut 'n' Thrust were the two, I believe. And now possibly Exiles in September as well.lunchmoney wrote:Thought I recognised you from other events, but wasnt 100% sureMerrick wrote:Indeed I am.
