Hey everyone,
As an introduction (I'm obviously new to the forum) I'm a big fan of Blood Bowl, have been for 15+ years.
I was pretty set in my ways of 3rd edition/Death Zone until recently. Last weekend I had my first game(s) (and tournament) with the Competition rules and am happy to say I came out victorious (3-0) with the Undead. I'm working to get a group set up in my town and have had at least some interest from the local Warhammerers so I'm hoping this place will be a good resource for commissioning a league, holding tournaments, etc...
Anyway, hope to see you all around!

Welcome!
You'll find that we're fairly friendly. Whereabouts are you based? You might find that there are already people local to you.

Hey, I've been told that I'm close to a relative 'hot-spot', I'm located in Indiana, ~1 hour from both Bloomington and Indy. Tournaments are fine to drive for, but I'd enjoy a league that didn't require the drive time quite a bit more. Growing up I played in leagues as small as three people, and the largest may have been 5-6. So if I can get get to the 6-8 person level, it's going to seem huge!

There are definitely coaches around that area - not me though, I'm strictly UK.
Best of luck in finding a league.

The guys you want to get in touch witha re Galakstarscraper (Fishers) and Xtreme (Indianapolis). I think there at least WERE guys in Fort Wayne. Pretty sure I've seen Bloomingtom on someone's location too...not sure who though. Indy has quite a lot of guys local.
Look up the Zlurpeebowl forums for more.

Thanks for the info Thadrin.
I can't believe how prevalent Blood Bowl is in my general area. I had no Idea there was a massive tournament, every summer, 40 miles from my front door...how have I missed it? Haha.
