Why can't I get to TBB?

I have no problem getting to TBB from my home computer, but since it came back on-line, I haven't been able to get to it from my work computer. It just times out and says it can't find the server whether I try typing in the address or clicking from a link, whether to the main form or directly to a topic. Times out when I try to ping it, too.

Did something change in the nature of where or how TBB is housed that might trigger something like this? I checked through my privacy settings (low) and security settings (custom), but didn't see anything that stood out (unfortunately the settings are locked by the employer, but if I knew what was causing the problem, I might be able to change that one thing).

Thanks for any suggestions!...not that I'll see them until I get home. :(

TBB has not changed server or IP address. Try an nslookup on www.talkbloodbowl.com, you should get 80.177.6.36. Also, try a traceroute to that IP address and see where it gets stuck.

You may have a dodgy cached copy of the site, either locally on the computer or on a proxy server where you work.

Many thanks. I'll have to try this when I'm back at work next week.

Very odd that it only occurred after TBB went down and came back up. Even tried to get to a porn site from work (the things I do for BB) and other message boards. Got in no problem. Just TBB.

It's really hurting my lack of productivity so I've got to fix it.

I've got the same problem, home machine finds the site fine, and the work one gets a cannot find page error. I've tried the IP address before with no joy, but my computer is well in need in a good cache clearout so I'll give that a try. Glad I'm not the only one, it means I've been crediting the admin monkeys with too malice.
