Yes, the default theme doesn't render correctly in all browsers (it was definitely screwy in Chrome, for example) so the ability to choose our own theme's much appreciated.

I'd just point out that the site_logo will have to be changed to whatever's chosen in the poll for each of the available themes (I'm using subsilver and am seeing the default phpbb logo).

That must have been my problem then- I use google chrome. the default theme was a pain, but subsilver plus seems to be great with chrome

Subsilver plus is not the default theme! Just one of those available.

Alternative themes are missing again

Well I found out why polls wouldn't work... the styles I'd uploaded before weren't up to date with the latest phpbb version so I've just gone and added some more and switched everyone over.

They aren't as nice as the others we had, but hopefully they'll work better. Someone has volunteered a custom style so hopefully once that comes along we'll have something a bit better.

The Prosilver Special Edition doesn't allow you to look at posts. It keeps giving you an error of a file missing.

this one is horrible

was it just the polls didn't work on the subsilver one? if so put it back on so i can use it, rather not vote in polls than have a board I can't use

Same here, gives a file missing error when you look at a topic, but is fine for looking at the topics board.

proglass is nice, really nice, but the icons of "new post" and "no new post" are the same.

Please make sure that the themes use the full browser width, both the silver and glass ones currently cant display the images in the posts etc since they are to narrow.

I hope we can get some good themes back. None of these new ones have one of the most important features to me: very learly distinctly different icons for no new posts and new posts.

Black pearl is the best of this lot, but not good enough still in that regard. Also the theme seems to be quite narrow. Many things can be said about the default theme, but at least that new post icon -issue is in order

Of the previous pool, the prosilver+ (or something with '+') was the best.

Well', I guess there'll be a bit of turbulence still, but we'll see what happens.

I've also added a couple more to the list.
