Hi, new player here. Always wanted to play this game, there is a league starting at my local shop next month so I'm finally getting into the game. So I'll probably have a bunch of newb questions in the coming weeks.  Anyways I was thinking about joining the NAF for some blocking dice (as well as all the other benefits), but when do they change the dice? I think it's every year but if I join now will I get this years versions? But then if I join so late in the year will I have to wait all the way to next Dec to get the 2010 versions?

New dice come out yearly, and are first introduced at the Blood bowl Grand Tournament in Nottingham which is in May each year. If you join before May, you'll get this years dice (red & white) - join after, and you'll get the next ones (whatever they turn out to be).

Just adding that your memebership will always be one year long, no matter when you join (in relation to the dice change) or when you choose to prolong your membership.
So if you join today and get the red dice your membership will be valid until Christmas 2010. If you decide to prolong your membership in May to get the fresh dice, a full year will be added to your membership period, so it's then valid until Christmas 2011.

If I renew my membership before may would I get this year's dice and next years? or just next years?
also, who pics the colors?

doesn't really matter. If you become a NAF-member before the new ones come out you'll get the red ones. When the new ones come out you'll get those.
Like Tim said, your membership is a year long from the date you joined. I renewed mine on december 10th 2009 and have recieved the red ones. On december 10th 2010 I'll get the new ones.
You can also contact your local tournament RTO.

Say you joined in March, you'd get the red dice. You wouldn't get the new dice in May unless you renewed your membership. Red & White, and depends n where you are, when the next batch is sent out, and that you've filled out all your details correctly.
