You guys let me know how it goes. It everyone absolutely loves the format and rules, I may to come groveling to Phil and beg to play.
I tried to get the PBeM to work as close as possible with Phil's rules. The Kickoff tables may cause a problem, so you'll have to let me know. Also I set it to the card system to kill the handicap table. Phil, when the game says a player gets a card just cancel the card selection and everything should work fine.

Too bad that I won't have time for anything like this until January... in addition to the fact that I haven't yet been able to update my os so the pbem tool isn't working yet...
But if I get it working in january I'll start hunting for leagues
Any chances of possibly joining this one sometimes in January?

That won't be a problem - I've played most of the available official teams and I don't dislike any of them.
BTW - according to the preliminary tests with the PBEM tool, it works just fine under win2k in my machine - hurrah!

Like Mestari's sizing issue ... I cannot get that color caching to happen on my machine so I have no way of knowing how to kill it and I use win2kLucien Swift wrote:i've been running on w2k at home and at the office for months... there is a weird little team color caching bug that tom can't seem to replicate, but other than that, seems fine to me...
Also Mestari when you get your new machine and the PBeM tool working let me know. We were going to try the COFAB rules to see how you liked them.

But that'll be in January - I have still 5 exams until 20th, and after them I will go to a place that doesn't have electricity apart from batteries - so no computers or internet connections either... A lovely place to retire for a holiday, all in all.
But I'll get back to you when the Christmas and New Year holidays end...

speaking of the sizing issue, did you try checking to see if your machine was using large icons? unchecking that option fixed the problem for me...
tom, to recreate the problem, go to your display properties (right-click on the desktop, select properties, go to effects tab, and check the "use large icons" option... you should get the sizing problem to happen that way...
