Just had my first online game, and my opponent conceded on me. I could have understood it if he'd done it the turn I BH and -1ST his slayers, but he played 3 more turns after that before quitting.

Will get a few more online games under my belt, then I'll be up for applying for a later league.

I've found a few quit when you're playing around TV100, once I got a bit higher i've not had anybody quit.

Darkson you are still one of our lost sons on BBQL.

Now Man Utd are out of the cup you'll have more free time to join in.

I'm hopefully coming back to the BBQL soon - changed browsers and lost the url and my log-in details.
Found them now, and got a day off soon....

Indeed you have.

So we have a full league and our first fixtures.

Tim's Skaven vs Voyager's Dwarves
Thadrin's Lizards vs Purdindas' Humans
PubBowler's Dark Elves vs Stick's Chaos
Barney's Orcs vs Inocluator's Orcs

So Stick, when are you free in the next week?

It should be an interesting League with so much emphasis on BASH, without the easy crumple team (goblins) it will be slower to develop than a league against the computer.

PB, do you have the fixture list for the whole season? if We know that it may help decide skill choices and development.

Cyanide is pretty bash orientated anyways, with only one duplicationof teams I'm pretty happy with the mix we've got.
But then I hate Elves and I don't have to play against them!

I had to check, I don't think so.
I'm not sure if that means that the fixtures use the matchmaking system as much as possible or they just get randomised after every game or are randomised at tha strat but you can't see them.
We'll just have to wait and see.

The Orcs should be a good test of coach versus coach as the line-ups are the same.

for those with experience playing a human opponent online... how long is a game. Against the AI I can get a game out in about 40 minutes...

I get home from work about 5ish thursday evening. I'll have my kid to look after...but that's no problem. I can stick him in front of a DVD (which is what he'll demand anyway) or he actually likes watching me play BB...

So shall we say about 5pm your time (6pm mine)?
