Q&A in question...

Post by chsic »

Hello !
The Bloodbowl 2001 rules review (in GW official website) say that the Q&A of White Dwarf is official.
But:
The printed version of BB 2001 review (in the BB annual 2002) say that all articles, rules or Q&A out before is unofficial.
Who have right ??? :o
Thanks

The WD is still in use unless a current LRB + last Annual overruled it.

Those clarifications were ones posted for the prior 3rd edition rules before any of the new updates. Some of the Q/As still apply but some do not due to rule changes...

The end-zone “line of death” does not discriminate when one tempts fate by using a “go for it” to pass over it.

None of WD 182 FAQ still applies. LRB has superceded the lot.

Yeah, go with the FAQs out on the GW BB site and the rule reviews documentation. This forum is also a good place to look up and ask questions...most people around here don't bite...too hard.

Precision again:
Here is what is said in 3_BBRC2001Q&A:

2001 BLOOD BOWL RULES REVIEW
PART THREE: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
This section provides answers to important commonly asked questions. This
and the Q&A published in WD 182 are the only Q&A which should be
considered an official addition to the Blood Bowl game. Any other published
Q&A you come across, no matter who wrote it, should be considered unofficial
guidelines, and is overruled by the Q&A in WD 182 and below. We will
republish the WD Q&A in the 2002 Blood Bowl Annual, and they are also
available on the Blood Bowl resources page of the Games Workshop website.
Please note that some answers in the WD182 Q&A have been superseded by
changes made in this rules review. If any contradictions arise the rules review
always takes precedence over the WD182 Q&A.
(....)

My question is:
It is still valid today?

get the living rulebook and the 2003 annual and then you won't have to worry about anything

tbh if that was published in 2001 i would ignore it ;]
