Blitz move and stab action

Post by Lord_Squinty »

Hi all,

Am I right in thinking because Stab reads 'Instead of making a block action', that during a blitz, a player has to have 1 point of movement remaining to take a stab action?
(As they'd need a point of movement to make a block action)
I'm reading that as they'd need to be able to legally make a block action to swap it for a stab action.
But at a recent tournament, this came up and a few players were saying its like a foul action, it needs no points of movement to work.

Which is correct?

Thanks

Yes, one movement point needed.

More that it uses the Blitz action, rather than loses it.

Is this still true after the rules lawyers tore up stab+dump off?
