Worst new GW BB mini?

Unfortunately its entirely predictable that we have a "worst new model" than a "best new model". I'm just glad that I don't have all my work globally critiqued.

I do think that one of the Rotters is a little on the small side for ST4 but that didn't mean I didn't buy it or enjoyed painting it.

As for the Elves, I'm fairly sure that opinions will change when we start to see some pro-painted teams here. I like the minis but think that the paint job in BBMag 8 hasn't helped too many people form positive decisions.

Bearing in mind that Fanatic have and intend to release around 55 different miniatures between March 2003 and July 2004, I think its a blooming cheek that people are fixated on the ones they don't like.

My favourites are the Vamps personally, closely followed by Ramtut who has single handedly promoted Khemri to the top of the "must paint next list".

yep until some are painted well you probably wont see how great/terrible they are. Lots of figures that look "good" are rubbish in a mixed team with older vintage models (mostly due to scale).I advise cutting and trimming if you need them to work.My current humans have had lots of eagles removed and icons hacked so the 2nd ed lead will look right. cant wait to get the vampire and paint them in a Blood Bowl style not warhammer.

But the bottom line is, to each his own. If you guys like them, then buy them. Me, I'll get a box of plastic Dwarves and convert them to a Blood Bowl team. I'll get 20 players for 10 bucks less. I just can't justify paying 40 bucks (!!!) for 12 figures that I just don't like. If they made them in plastic, they could be cheaper and way easier to convert. Then I might buy them. But as it stands now, I don't like figures that look like they're posing for Flex magazine, cause there's not much you can do with them other than just accepting the fact that you're not going to get anything better, so you might as well buy them.

Okay that's my rant and my opinion.

Well I'm happy as hell that we have new minis.
Most of them i think are pretty good. In fact, like I said, Griff and Hubris are my only real thorns. Varag is awesome to behold and the new ogres are great too. If only they were on the shelves around here.

Sorry, I agree it's great that we've got new models, but having seen the werewolf figure I've really taken a dilike to it.

I think so,too. ZODIAC and me have the new Elf Team and they are great. I don´t know why people don´t like the style of the new ogre Cheerleader should she look like a model??? It´s an Ogre!!!! I mean buy a big Guy for 18€ only to have a cheerleader is senseless but the model is awesome.
