GW Vampire Team - More vampires?

Post by Omalley69 »

Hi

I just got my GW made to order vampire team and wondered how to get the 2 last vampires
in order to be able to field all 6 at some point (end season maybe, i know its not advised to go above 4 before having 4+ rerolls :smoking: )

Has there ever been more than the 4 gw vampires besides count luthor?

Any suggestions for a bad "rear end" whilhem chaney? (Id like a big beefcake werewulf)

There was another vampire sculpt (vampire 4) but you only got that in booster packs - so it's hard to find as it didn't come in team boxes.

There's also an alternative sculpt of the vampire lord which you can get from Impact Miniatures. Looks like this.

Hi

Thanks, I just brought the Dorian the lost model from Impact.
It was only 3 pound. On ebay somebody wanted 15 dollars for it :smoking:

I want one of these, but shipping to the UK puts it way out of reasonable. Do we have any UK stores stocking Impact stuff?

Thanks Vanguard, but i checked there already. None in stock. Seemed to be little stock actually.

Now I look further it's just a head swap? Might not need him so much as I thought.

The boots and the head are different - Steve Buddle sculpted the bald one first but GW wanted it to fit the look of the rest of the vampires so he added a helmet and lace up boots.

The sculptor, Steve Buddle gave this version to Traveller: "This alternate Vampire Lord is the original version made by Steve Buddle when he sculpted the Vampire Team. Fanatic decided they wanted a helmet on him and that he should have more ‚footbally‘ boots. As Steve was rather pleased with the original, Fanatic (very kindly) cast this one for him before the changes were made. Only one of this figure was ever cast and the original sculpture was changed into the final Vamp Lord."
