Oh man, I've been wanting to add a good Wilhelm Chaney model to my collection for awhile!

I got my miniature yesterday.
It looks good with few mold lines.

The miniature is a bit "2D" in that it can lie flat well, ie arms to the sides rather than forward/backward.
Was this by design so the miniature could be placed prone/stunned easier?

To be fair that is clear from the pictures in the first post.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Yes, it is. I was asking if the reason for this is so that the miniature can easily be placed prone/stunned.
Perhaps there's another reason?

For their second star I'd like to see some more dynamic, depending on their choice of star of course.

Nice to hear, that you got your mini. You are probably the first one to get one outside Finland :)

We designed the miniature on purpose to be a bit 2d, because it makes it easier to make a mold. We also wanted to have BeerBeer in one piece. To be able to have it prone and stunned was nice bonus. (I don't personally like figures, that are difficult place prone/stunned).

Mold lines are always a difficult thing when casting miniatures in metal. Hopefully you can get them removed nicely.

All good reasons and it works well with Zug (or should I say BeerBeer?. I can see the resemblance)

I meant that there wasn't many mold lines and I'll get them removed, no worries

I'd like to see the new star players that have appeared in DZ1 and DZ2 since there aren't miniatures out there for them

Here is a link to a blog article, where we tell how we made the Mighty BeerBeer miniature. It has a bit technical point of view, but maybe someone is interested :o

The Mighty Beer Beer arrived a while ago, but I've been too busy. I thought 'hey, I'll start a blog and post about it', but that hasn't happened yet.

Anyways, it's a nice mini and I'm glad I picked him up. If I do get around to blog, I'll circle back here. EDIT: and quicker than I thought, I found the time to get stuff posted. It's not much of a post, but I did add some comparison pics that show Mighty Beer Beer next to FW's Mighty Zug and a new Human Lineman. Blog link in my signature.
