Your skaven are more than passable mate, as are ians orcs IMO, I don't think we're aiming at golden daemon standard here.Marcus wrote:Wish I could paint. I'd love to have a go....
After all, Thads is in, and you seen his dwarves, right?

Those WERE painted ten years ago (with a couple of touch ups between now and then). I'd redo them, but that would involve stripping the paint of and all that stuff I really can't be arsed with.
I think I've got a bit better since then.

Okay, Goblins are definitely the team we're going with. I'll wait until tomorrow morning and then call the vote on the colors -- that way we can get started this weekend if we want to.
IF we can get them in time for someone to go to Blood Bowl with them and have the name drawn, great. If not, I'll have them all sent to me, I'll photograph them, and I'll get Jervis to draw a name and then handle sending the team to the winner.
I'm going to start another post (which I'll link here) for people to post what they intend to paint and what progress they're making.

STOP VOTING ORANGE/BLACK!!!!!!!Deathwing wrote:Black/Orange (Browns). Aaaargh! Please no...painted up a sizeable (27 fig) Shadowforge team in those colours recently, and I really don't wanna go there again yet. Got a bit gutty towards the end and in truth I haven't picked up a brush since. Please don't make me go there again.

Okay, I'm going to call the Vote. It's Orange and Black, Deathwing -- sorry. Anyone have ideas on how to paint them? Most Gobbos have a shoulderpad, loincloth, and some have a helmet. We could do a simple half and half scheme, painting one half black and the other half orange, or we could pick a color for each item.

If you're looking for inspiration, the link below will take you to a Bengals helmet.

Here's a link to players wearing the Bengals outfits: http://proshop.bengals.com/istar.asp?a= ... 26pos%3D80
I think the best representation of the Bengals scheme would be:
Helmets: Orange with Black Stripes
Shoulderpads / UpperBody: Black with White Letters and Orange Accents
Pants / Loincloths: White with Orange Stripes
Does that sound right to everyone?
Also, how about a team name: The Greenskinatti Bungles?
