I'm looking for a team that can be used as Wood Elf or Pro Elf in a pinch but not having much joy finding something I like. Any recommendations?

There's these from Impact: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/67 ... s-and-dark
This was for the upscaled 32mm version, but they also had them in 28mm.

I can't find them on the Impact site atm, but if you're interested drop Galak a PM and I'm sure he'll get back to you.

There's also the Timberline elves: http://www.impactminiatures.com/index.p ... =timberelf

I've used the Neomics Elves as both Pro and High Elves:

Buy Dave's. Also Black Scorpion...

Wood Elves from LoTRs (a bit small perhaps)

Seriously though just hope that GW hurry up and release the right team next.

Unless you want to do some converting.

If you're into the whole "Every team needs a female version in provocative poses" thing, you have multiple options:

Rolljordan "Silvania":

Greebo's "Alyons":

(Wait, 25 Eur for 15 Models??? Dang I might just have to buy them myself)

I have also seen some truly fantastic Wood Elf team conversions from the old Warhammer Wood Elves. But that's probably your most expensive version and the most work.

I almost need help assembling minis so I think conversion is out of my ability range ;)

I hadn't heard of Star Player before so will take a look at that. So far best I've seen are Black Scorpion and Greebo. Greebo feel more like Amazon's though and I'm in danger of buying their entire product range at the moment - the work they're churning out ATM is amazing.

I went for Black Scorpion's too mate and use them for all three Elf races. For the star players, I used Star Player Miniatures and they work really well together. (Other than Dolfar who must be on steroids!)

My Dolfar works just fine with the rest.
You must have a copy from the first batch, which was huge

Thanks for the picture - it really helps seeing other paintjobs on models I find rather than just a store image.

Another option (one I am using for both Pro and Wood Elves) is the Shadowforge Elves:

Stock Picture from Tritex

Excellent example of painted version by Traveller

Link to TFF thread from 2009 with a nice simple conversion of same team

I like them so much I've now picked up their "Wicked Elves" as well. And the way I did my team, they can double as Amazons as well ...

Edit - you will need to find your own Treeman for them as Wood Elves - Shadowforge don't do an appropriately sized treeman (although I have used a dryad from their range as Willow Rosebark).
