Finally the first team that I have Painted for Forge World has been released! I love the models, especially the medieval theme (maybe because I have hte same helmet?) Rob Macfarlane did an awesome job with them! And these will be my first BB team! Finally after all this years I found one team that I want to play! Also I've had the opportunity to paint a lot of metal and try new techinques for it! Hope you like them! Cheers!

Soon more pics!

Wow !! these look amazing. I think I am going to get a new Human team.

Can someone please tell me how you can tell the difference between blitzers and linemen on this team? Do you think its possible to convert 2 linemen to blitzers so you can make do with just one box? Maybe use fancy helmets only for blitzers? I think there are enough bare / minimalist heads in the set.

There are 4 heads with no helmet.
The Helmetless are the blitzers. Easy.

No quite true.
There is, yes, 4 with no helmets. 1 is clearly the thrower though!

The heads are separate bits. You can attach them to any body.

Really nice paint job, but can't help but wish it was in the original colour scheme :)

Axia, how did you do the colour transitions on the BB counters? Is it done by doing a number of thin washes?

It looks more like layered to me.
You can even see single brush strokes.
