There are currently some items up for pre-order. Release date is the 26th, these are...

1) Blood Bowl boxed game, including everything you need to start playing the game with two teams (orcs and humans).

2) Death Zone expansion book, includes more rules for leagues and also other team rosters but no models.

3) Skaven Team.

4) Skaven dice set.

5) Web Exclusive Blood Bowl Special Play Card.

There are no other rumours.

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

Rumour that Dwarfs will be out in December/Jan but other than that I'd expect a team a month or so.

I went in to pre-order the game from my local GW at the weekend, and was told the dwarves would be landing around March time.

Disclaimer: Appreciate this forum is full of "my local GW told me..." 'facts' that may not actually be true!

Ha, to tighten the noose around my neck, I was also told:
  • - The game will only be in stores 'til the new year, then will disappear and be handled by mail order and/or ForgeWorld (I guess that means they probably won't have any more support in store after the tournament they'll be running on January 6th).

    - A plastic ogre and troll are inbound.

    - The unveiling of the new box for managers sounded mint - there was a quiz where they were asked if the squig ball was anatomically correct!

    - Only the 'new' teams (orcs, humans and skaven) can be used in-store at the moment, including the tournament that they are running in January.

    - They can't give flyers and information about local leagues to customers, unless they specifically ask.

    - You should definitely let me use 60k catchers at Elflympics (the manager was very specific about that one).

Anyone heard if GW plans on supplementing the box teams with additional blitzers and bob's or is it going to be like last time?

What do you mean like last time? They released booster packs last time.

Miniatures that match the box game plastics is what I will be looking for.

I don't think that GW will release booster packs with 3rd or 4th edition miniatures.
But I also doubt that they will sculpt new poses for the boosters either.

So, my guess is: Yes, boosters will come but they will have just copies of the ones in the team boxes or, in case of humans and orcs, in the boxed set.

Thanks. I was just trying to decide if I should keep them and complete the boxed game teams or sell them. I am sure there will be an immediate demand for the orcs and humans from coaches wanting to complete the teams.

My guess is your guess is wrong.
