My guess is your guess is wrong.
Sure I saw Andy Hoare confirm on Facebook that the ForgeWorld releases will be all new sculpts.

Not everyone uses Facebook, and now you've ruined my "hey, my psychic powers are better than yours" thing I was going to use on Regesh. ;)

Haha, well, I guess, however it's been all over the other websites as well and podcasts. You'd have to be a real media hermit to not see it somewhere :D

Well, than lets just hope they won't do the same crap as before when they had the boxed set teams look completely different from the team boxes.
A boxed set plastic team with metal booster miniatures did look so silly.

Has anyone who reads their FB page seen *when* they intend to release the boosters?

Kind of irritating not to know this days before I buy my shiny new box. If it's going to be a long wait, or if they refuse to say, then I'll just swap the humans for my leaguemate's orcs and we'll each have a shiny new team. If it's going to be under a month or so, I'll keep both teams and buy the boosters.

GW/FW, this means you guys get more of my money if I can buy these boosters soon. And assuming that the price is decent. Not that they read TFF ;)

I'm 100% sure that the only time "Old" GW would even look at a site like this was to have their Legal department search for potential IP violations to support a takedown demand.

The "new, kinder, gentler" GW seems to be doing things like talking to their customers and soliciting feedback. Or at least, the part we care about (Specialist Games / Blood Bowl). So I guess it's conceivable that someone from GW is reading this from time to time. (And if you guys are, good on you! Thank you for resurrecting Blood Bowl! I intend to reward your hard work this weekend!)

I read somewhere that a shop already had a IP-blamed mess. :-?

Coximininos had their trade account cancelled (and therefore their pre-orders), but the reasons why are just speculation as they've only posted a letter from themselves and not what they've received from GW (understandably, they're probably allowed to).

But given they plaster "Blood Bowl" all over their store (for non-GW items) which is an IP violation and they published the pre-order prices before they were supposed to, which was against the contract every other 3rd party had (so therefore likely theirs as well), and I'm not surprised or sympathetic.

To reinforce this ... I'd wager an incredible amount of money that you can blame one of these two items.
1) Blatant violation of IP by having the words Blood Bowl in multiple places on the site. Chapterhouse cleared the way to call them Fantasy Football miniatures NOT Blood Bowl miniatures. And Alex was informed of this and choose to ignore it.
2) Violation of the vendor terms. He released the pricing before his contract allowed him to do so. He was warned when he did this that it could have dire consequences and ignored it.

Either of the above would have been GW being totally in their rights. If I had to bet on just one horse ... it would be not that they had IP issues (which they do) but that GW did not take kindly to releasing the pricing. They expect their wholesale accounts to follow the rules ... so odds are this is what sunk him. I know Alex said it was IP issues ... but none of the other mini companies have heard anything at all from GW so the IP issue doesn't feel right.

After all the abuse I've taken from GW over the years ... I'm watchful. Didn't like the new sized pitch and didn't like Weeping Blades and said so on both openly. But this one I don't see as GW being bad.

I've just been on the site and although a lot of stuff has been changed to fantasy football, there still is BB to be read on the site.
If he has been warned and chose to ignore it... GW isn't to be blamed here, at least not in my books.
