This team was converted from old Warhammer Slann figures. They look a lot like frogs to me.

Slann absolutely are not Frogmen in the way that Lizardmen are anthropomorphic lizards. They are space aliens whose biology makes them very good at jumping. I always theorised that they came from a higher gravity planet, so that when they came to the Blood Bowl world they were able to leap about much like astronauts on the Moon. I always thought the early Slann illustrations looked more reptilian than amphibious.
I think the aforementioned Impact figures really captured the whole Aztec/Mayan space traveller vibe from the fluff, but Johnny's project is a fantastic take on the froggy interpretation, and I was a (minor) backer.
There are some companies that make Cossack style heads that might suit conversion for a Kislev version.

I am actually one who likes the Kislev team, although probably everybody else (as far as I heard/read) would prefer Slann. But I like the look and the theme. And I dont think frogs should play Bloodbowl.
So anybody has any idea?
I just sold a complete Kislev army not a month ago. Now I wish I had held back a few to convert into a bloodbowl team :)

As suggested, look for Kossack miniatures from other ranges. A lot of those are better suited to convert into Bloodbowl players as they hold swards and stuff instead of having their arms pressed to their bodies to carry a spear

In case of doubt, throw a die. (hitting critical locations should quickly take care of any disputes)

In the end, it's hard to lose on these. All models are amazing

Glad I only had one friend I had to sort figures for, from my frog package. And that was fairly easy. I had 2 complete teams, so 1 to each of us. All "side line staff" to my mate, as I don't collect those...that was easy.

And a Ref to each of us, and done!

Also, have I said how lovely these frogs were? :D
